Speeding up your old PC is not as daunting as it may seem. Sometimes a slow PC can be fixed by simply updating your system. These updates can sometimes take a while to finish, but once they do, you should see a significant difference in your computer’s speed. Also, if you have a lot of icons dotting your computer screen, you should try to clean them up or reorganize them by putting them into different folders. If you have a busy desktop background, you should try to simplify. Anything with a lot of colors or a stretched out .jpg image can put a strain on your computer as it tries to load. By choosing a simpler image, you could speed up your computer with ease. Another way to speed up your computer is to take out the trash. Empty your recycle bin and delete apps that you don’t need anymore. This will free up space on your PC and allow it to run faster.
